Sip 'n Stick Straw
Sip 'n Stick Straw
The Sip ‘n Stick was a concept inspired a while back by some conversations with Ed Calderon of Ed’s Manifesto and Jason Willard (@proknifethrower) recent banning of the plastic drinking straw. Taking these conversations and incorporating our own ideas on improvised tools for non-permissive environments and combining them with a scabbard concept, we were able to make a small system that allows for beverage consumption, improvised tool creation, concealment, and easy access.
Each kit comes with 1 stainless steel drinking straw with top bend. Each has a laser engraved Kopis logo below an angled notch allowing for quick tip breakoff. Once broken, you now have a logoless tool with a pointed end that can easily be sharpened on sand paper, pavement, or the bottom of a coffee cup. The synthetic scabbard is a simple and low tech way to protect the tip and can be tethered to a belt loop or other point using the included beaded chain to allow for quick access and tip exposure.
